If you talk to the average MAGA voter and ask them what they like about Donald Trump, they'll say 'he's a straight shooter', 'he loves our country', 'he's a 'f**k you' to the establishment', 'he's going to dismantle the corrupt three-letter agencies' and so on. The paradoxical picture that forms in your mind is of a rogue populist who's going to smash the overreaching Deep State establishment to free the peasants in a kind of master-led slave rebellion... but he's going to use his ghoulish allies in Silicon Valley to do it. Huh?

But the troubling picture I see emerging is that while he may be chipping away at the impenetrable walls of the deep state to some degree, those agencies, for all their faults, still sit in a system of checks and balances. He wants to replace those agencies with something FAR worse, a big tech panopticon where, as real life Batman villain Larry Ellison so disturbingly put it, "Citizens will be on their best behavior because we're constantly recording and reporting everything that's going on.” Who's "we," Larry? You got a turd in your pocket?

Now look, I LOATHE the FBI, CIA, NSA, NFL, PMS, DEA, WTF, and WWF as much as the next guy but we know who they are, we know where their offices are located and they have an—albeit deeply flawed— internal affairs division that investigates and prosecutes malfeasance. I would LOVE to see these agencies gutted, their funding slashed and forced go through a hyper-transparent investigation where the US citizens who fund them can see all the cancerous shit they’ve been doing over the years. A real come-to-Jesus moment where we lay it out for all to see.

All of this aside, we've somehow forgotten that these institutions are ours—they work for us. We have the power to make them play by the rules, or else. Do you honestly think you’ll have a say in what that shrink-wrap-faced Larry Ellison is up to? Seriously, the guy looks as if he’s trying to outlive his own reflection. And meanwhile, he’s hiding behind his creepy, one-way mirror surveillance systems—a digital panopticon. They can watch you, but you can’t see what they’re doing. It’s a tyrant’s wet dream! And yet, the political party that claims to love ‘freedom’ has signed off on all of this, no questions asked.

The Trojan Horse’s Arse

It is this writer’s humble opinion that the only reason Donald Trump was ALLOWED to take power again was if he agreed to appease his freedom-loving, heavily armed base and help usher in this Brave New World. You see, the Left has already been completely captured by Big Tech, not only allowing for censorship and surveillance but applauding as it is rolled out. MAGA, not so much—and thank God for that! MAGA will need a bit more convincing that this Digital Panopticon is a necessary evil, and Donald J. Trump is the spoonful of sugar to help that medicine go down.

The real con is that Trump’s most die-hard supporters think they’re fighting the system when in reality, they’re being herded straight into its upgraded, AI-powered slaughterhouse. While he talks a big game about “draining the swamp,” the same corporate interests, intelligence agencies, and tech oligarchs are quietly building the infrastructure of total control behind the scenes. His role isn’t to fight the machine—it’s to sell it to the very people who would have burned it down if it had come with a Democrat’s signature!

If there’s one thing Trump excels at, it’s marketing—and right now, he’s polishing the turd that is the surveillance state.

Think about it: Would the average American conservative ever accept mass biometric tracking, predictive policing, and an AI-driven surveillance state if it were rolled out under Obama or Biden? Hell no. But wrap it in a flag, call it a weapon against “woke radicals” and the “deep state,” and suddenly, half the country is cheering for its own digital prison. Trump isn’t the battering ram against the establishment—he’s the establishment’s golden ticket to finishing the job. And once the system is in place, it won’t matter who they let sit behind the desk in the Oval Office. The leash will be fully secured.

So, if we’re going to tuck into the forthcoming Tech Bro prison system, we need to understand why it’s even an idea to be entertained. And, as it turns out there is a very good case to be made in tearing down these highly corrupt, dangerous agencies.

• COINTELPRO (Counter Intelligence Program)
  The FBI's covert program aimed at surveilling, infiltrating, discrediting, and disrupting domestic political organizations, including civil rights groups, anti-war activists, and left-wing organizations. Notably, it targeted Martin Luther King Jr. and the Black Panther Party, employing wiretaps, false propaganda, and more.

• Operation CHAOS
  A CIA initiative to monitor and disrupt anti-Vietnam War groups and left-wing activists in the 1960s and 1970s. It involved illegal surveillance of U.S. citizens, including prominent political leaders and intellectuals, without warrants or oversight. That was the Left I grew up with, my how things have changed.

• MKUltra
  A CIA mind-control program that conducted illegal experiments on both U.S. and Canadian citizens, often without their consent. The goal was to investigate the potential of drugs like LSD for interrogation purposes, and it involved psychological abuse and manipulation. This lovely program gave us Ted Kaczynsky and Charlie Manson!

• Watergate Scandal
  Involving the Nixon administration, this infamous scandal saw the FBI and CIA's involvement in the break-in at the Democratic National Committee headquarters. It was part of a broader series of covert operations designed to spy on political opponents and sabotage their campaigns.

• Operation Gladio
  A CIA and NATO covert operation designed to create "stay-behind" armies in Europe in case of Soviet invasion, but it also involved manipulating political outcomes in European countries, including Italy, by supporting right-wing extremist groups and interfering with elections.

• The Assassination of Patrice Lumumba
  The CIA played a role in the 1961 assassination of Congo's first democratically elected prime minister, Patrice Lumumba. Fearing his alignment with the Soviet Union, the CIA orchestrated a plan to remove him from power through covert means, which included supporting rival factions and facilitating his execution.

• Operation Northwoods
  A proposed series of false-flag operations planned by the U.S. military in the 1960s, including fake terrorist attacks and staged shootings, which would then be blamed on Cuba to justify military intervention. Though never executed, the operation shows the extreme lengths the government was willing to go to during the Cold War.

• The FBI's Harassment of John Lennon
  In the late 1960s and early 1970s, the FBI harassed Beatle John Lennon, viewing his anti-Vietnam War activism as a threat to national security. They conducted surveillance, tapped his phone, and tried to deport him due to his vocal opposition to the war and his support for left-wing causes.

• CIA Involvement in the Overthrow of Iran's Prime Minister (1953)
  The CIA orchestrated a coup in Iran to overthrow Prime Minister Mohammad Mossadegh after he nationalized the country's oil industry. The operation, known as Operation Ajax, resulted in the installation of the Shah, which led to decades of authoritarian rule in Iran the ripples of which are still felt today.

• The FBI's Surveillance of the Civil Rights Movement
  The FBI used wiretaps, informants, and other forms of surveillance to undermine the Civil Rights Movement, particularly targeting leaders like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., whom they tried to discredit, harass, and intimidate through letters and phone taps.

And this is the stuff WE KNOW about, imagine the litany of gnarly shit these agencies have done— at times with Mossad— that we’ve never been able to fully expose. September 11, JFK, and The Apollo Affair to name a few.

Each of these bullet points could be—and still might be—their own articles, but here’s how Chat GPT laid out the promises of Larry Ellison et. al.

  Reality: Total surveillance of all digital and physical movements under the guise of stopping crime and terrorism. No sense in addressing the root causes of crime, just lock down the slaves.

  Reality: Automated censorship, deplatforming, and narrative management to silence dissent and enforce ideological compliance. I’d like to remind you that ‘misinformation’ is any information deemed damaging to corporate power.

  Reality: A social credit system that determines what you can access based on your political views, behavior, and compliance. I’ll never forget where I was when I heard Elon Musk describe HIS version of the fabled Chinese Social Credit System he so vehemently opposed. But it’s only because he wasn’t profiting off that one.

• Promise: "Seamless Biometric Authentication for Your Safety"
  Reality: You are permanently trackable, and your ability to travel, work, or buy goods can be revoked with a keystroke. Because pulling out $4 to pay for your coffee is so impossibly more difficult than using your retina scan.

• Promise: "Cashless Society for a More Secure Economy"
  Reality: Total financial control—your spending can be frozen or restricted at will based on arbitrary government or corporate policies. “Getting coffee four blocks from a protest that turned violent? Well we’ve geolocated you in that protest so you have no money now.”

• Promise: "Predictive Policing to Prevent Crime Before It Happens"
  Reality: Thoughtcrime enforcement—people flagged as threats based on algorithms, preemptive arrests, and AI-driven persecution. Lovely isn’t it! Ever seen Minority Report with Tom Cruise?

• Promise: "Internet of Things (IoT) for Ultimate Convenience"
  Reality: Everything you own reports back to the system—your car, fridge, TV, and phone are all snitches monitoring your habits and choices. “Too much red meat purchased this month, no weekend getaway for you, CLIMATE KILLER!”

• Promise: "Universal Digital Passports for Global Travel"
  Reality: Your freedom of movement is conditional on compliance with government mandates, health regulations, and behavioral tracking. “Take the fucking shot regardless of your personal health needs or you’re not going to grandma’s funeral, after she died from taking this same shot!”

• Promise: "AI-Assisted Decision-Making for a Better Society"
  Reality: Algorithmic governance where unelected tech elites and artificial intelligence dictate policy, punish wrongthink, and engineer obedience. I’m convinced that George Orwell was a benevolent time traveller sent to warn us but…WE DIDN’T LISTEN

The possibilities

Most Elon Musk (simps) fans think his vision of the future is going to be a blend of 2001: A Space Odyssey and Space Balls. But this is such an immature assessment, I see it much darker, a toxic blend of Hunger Games, Minority Report, and Black Mirror. Maybe I’m cynical but NOTHING I’ve learned about converging interests at the top of the pyramid of power has let me believe otherwise. He’s spent the past few years going on Joe Rogan warning the public about “China’s social credit system” yet he doesn’t oppose such systems on their face, he just wants his ‘cut’ like any crime boss.
